You should see the inside! I don't have photos of the interior, but the back of the house is all windows with views of the mountains . . . There's also a wet bar which has an oak finish.

Now to dig up funds . . .

Beauty, ODLP! I think I know where that is...hrm...I'ma try to catch up with you for more details.

Congrats! (And yep, 40 year mortgages do exist in our area...)

Hmmm . . . 40 year? I'm putting in for a 30 year. *thinking*

Congrats! I am so envious. This is awesome news.

Hi Olie! Hope all is well. As a homeowner of 3 years, I say take a 30 year mortgage if you can afford it. You don't want to be in debt for the rest of your life! Good luck.

Yeah, we're gonna take the 30 year mortgage. I just foresaw shelling out too much cash for too long a period. Besides, I'd rather pay out principal faster.

How random is it that I blog on here too and I just happened to be looking through them and yours popped up!? I'm not stalking you no worries. I miss poetry...writing short fiction isn't as fun. See you around! ~Caitlin Herman

ps There's some trick about paying your mortgage in two installments a month--it works out to an extra payment over the regular 12 months and apparently it goes right to the principal. Something to think about. :-)
