I've gotta go with #3. I like it a great deal better than the first, whose font seems clunky, the second, like the first is closer but still too brown, whereas this third one seems spoton to me.
I have to agree with Paul. #3 is it. Beautiful. Eye ctahcing in a good way. The first one os hideous thanks to awful typeface. And it look misproportioned.
Thanks guys. I have my pick and I'll refrain from revealing it for a little while. SIU has a pick that's different from mine, which makes me think I have poor taste. Anyway, I'd still love to hear so opinions.
I've gotta go with the much maligned #2. The color of #3 is too old-person-trying-to-wear-a-cheerful-color-to-ward-off-death-ish. Unless, of course, you choose it, and then it's just fabulous.
Hi Oliver--I can see where you've had a hard time picking. #3--the font is better for the title, the design edgier. #2--a balanced presentation that highlights your name better but the title might as well be 'Bedtime Stories' with the color and font they used. XOXO, Barbara Jean
Thanks for the feedback so far, guys. Rigoberto e-mailed. He voted for #2.
Now I'm even more confused. I'll check with the press and see if we can juggle a few things around. I'm still going to refrain from telling you my selection, but the press likes #2.
can't disagree with rigo--i'm late to the game, but i pick #2--love the dark colors here. congrats though..what a great "problem" to have.
but also? you did not think the buckeyes would make mincemeat out of georgetown?? harumph. you and pat both! how i can call you my friends is beyond me...;)

I like #3 best.
Yay for your new book!

Personally, I like the clunkiness of number 1, it seems more urgent.
I don't like number 3, the image gets lost in that bright outer color.
Very cool. I vote for 3.
1 and 2 seem outdated to me—font- and design-wise (in a tapered-jeans way, not in a retro/classic way).
Hrmmm...
I actually like 2 best. It has a nice balance between the title and your name visually top to bottom.
3 shows the art best, however.
I like # 3.

I liked #2 best too! It puts the focus on the art and the title.

I think #1 looks unusual and other, but #3 is the nicest to look at, I think.
